Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Legend AI (the "Service"), operated by Legend AI ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What Legend AI is — and is not

Legend AI is a research and educational tool. It scans markets, detects chart patterns, and presents scored setups organized around the published methodologies of well-known traders. Legend AI is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, or financial planner, and nothing on the Service is personalized investment, legal, tax, or financial advice. We do not recommend that you buy, sell, or hold any security. All trading and investment decisions are your own and are made at your own risk. See our Risk Disclaimer.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for keeping your password secure, and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

3. Subscriptions, billing & trials

  • Paid plans ("Pro") are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) through our payment processor, Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on each renewal until you cancel.
  • Free trials, where offered, convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel before it ends.
  • Subscriptions auto-renew for the same term unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can cancel anytime from your account billing portal.
  • We may change prices or plan features; we will give reasonable advance notice, and changes apply to the next billing cycle.
  • You are responsible for any applicable taxes.

Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) resell, redistribute, scrape, or republish the Service's data or output without permission; (b) reverse-engineer or attempt to disrupt the Service; (c) share your account credentials; (d) use the Service for unlawful purposes or in violation of market, brokerage, or regulatory requirements that apply to you; or (e) abuse rate limits, AI features, or infrastructure.

5. Third-party data & AI features

Market data is sourced from third parties and may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate. AI chat features ("Ask the Legends") generate responses describing published methodologies and may be inaccurate; they are educational and are not advice or an endorsement by any real person. Do not rely on any output as the sole basis for a trade without your own verification.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, its software, design, and original content are owned by us and protected by law. We reference the names of well-known traders only to identify whose published methodology a screener implements (nominative fair use); this does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement by those individuals. You retain ownership of content you create (e.g., watchlists, trade notes) and grant us a limited license to host and display it to you as part of the Service.

7. Disclaimers of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR UNINTERRUPTED AVAILABILITY. We do not warrant that any setup, score, or signal will be profitable.

8. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY TRADING OR INVESTMENT LOSSES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, losses, and expenses arising out of your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe create legal or security risk. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date and, where appropriate, notified by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of [operator's state], without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Exclusive venue for disputes lies in the courts located there.
